Elderly women and single moms who fall ill can be especially vulnerable. We want them to know that they are seen, cherished and valued.
Meeting basic needs can become a seemingly impossible task and many die too soon, suffer too much, or at best feel isolated and forsaken.
Our Manna Care programs provide food, medical care and home visits to those who have nobody else in the world who hears their cries.
Grandmas and Mamas!
Grandmas:
Our Grandma program matches women in Uganda with sponsors in the US who will provide much needed funds for food, medication and whatever needs might be necessary to give dignity and encouragement to these precious women at this stage of their lives.
Mamas:
Helping a single mom who has an ongoing illness care for her children gives a breath of life. Even though some of our Mamas may even still work some, they are in need of a boost to help put food on the table. A bit of monthly support can make the difference between worrying where the next meal will come from to sleeping a bit more soundly at night knowing that they are not alone.
